Miranda Arellano, Clinic Owner
Registered Psychotherapist, Master of Counselling, Certified EMDR Therapist, EMDRIA approved Consultant-In-Training
After a transformative therapy experience in my youth, I felt inspired to support others on their healing journeys. This led me to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Counselling in Counselling Psychology. Now, as a trauma-informed Registered Psychotherapist and EMDR Certified Therapist based in North Bay, Ontario, I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, addiction, OCD, panic, PTSD, childhood trauma, attachment injuries, relationship issues, infidelity, and more.
My personal experience with trauma has deeply shaped my passion for EMDR Therapy, for which I have advanced training and certification. I take a trauma-informed approach to all my work, incorporating modalities such as Ego State Therapy, biofeedback, and the Gottman Method for couples therapy. My practice also includes trauma-informed strategies tailored to support children, adolescents, and adults. For children, I integrate play therapy and art therapy.
I also provide trauma-informed EMDR consultation for fellow therapists seeking to expand their skills and confidence in this transformative modality. It would be my honor to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and well-being.
